Petition Against Prime Minister Gordon Darcy Lilo - by Joint Civil Society

In the face of the release and publicizing of the People/s Petition yesterday…..PMO reacts!!!!!

"HENSON IS A DESPERATE LONER, SAYS PM’S OFFICE.
THE OPMC SAID MR. HENSON HAS GONE BEYOND THE BEHAVIOUR OF
A CIVIL ORGANIZATION TO DRIVE HIS PERSONAL ANGER AT AN ELECTED GOVERNMENT".

I was of the view that the Petition stemmed from various discussions on this forum. If such is the case, are we going to allow one man to be crucified for the commentaries of many?

  • Barnzie Henson My dear colleagues, once again my person is being politically assassinated and ridiculed by PMO for standing up for all of us against corruption and criminality in the top leadership echelons of this nation. I know that we have tickled a nerve hence the baseless outburst from PMO. I therefore call on you my colleagues to recognize right and reality and offer up your support for this fight. Words must end and action must begin. Your support is needed now, not only for our sakes but most importantly for the future of our children and nation. Shall we?

  • Leslie Kwaiga JT, FYI, ANSI has contributed $3,000.00 for the work of the JCSG and the work has now been completed with the printing of 20 copies of petition. It is our common duty to put our money where our mouths are. So please accept that at least ANSI, hem supportim the Petition. Also ANSI hem rely long oketa members blong for seleni and members no staka osem FSII. JT be rest assured ANSI supports the Petition 100%.

  • James Callender "Henson is a desperate loner"
When the so-called Prime Minister's Office descends to the level of personal attacks, it has some serious things to hide.

To be honest, I am sure plenty of us could think of plenty of choice words to describe the Prime Minister (Pathetic is but one of them), but the issue at stake is the rampant corruption, not personal character attacks....

  • Cam Ross ...so what now? How do the petitions, if they are supported by the people,, get back to where they can be compiled, and then how do they get submitted to Government? That's going to be difficult, I would have thought, given the history of this campaign.

  • Barnzie Henson Plan is to collect the signature pages back...either scanned and emailed back to us or dropped off at the ANSI office in Chinatown. We will also collect signed pages back from those in Honiara....the delivery will be in person to the Prime Minister at his office with prior notice....we're thinking less than 10 people....nonetheless please share any helpful suggestions you may have....our contact: mob +677 7651207 email bhenson132@gmail,com

  • Benjamin Afuga JT fyi....FSIIM supports the collaboration with all CSOs and helped in drafting and other documentary assistance. As much as FSIIM would like to support in terms of finance, our true financial capability could not afford to render any finacial assistance towards the work of JCSG & CC.

To show its support, FSIIM has tasked one of its Board member in the JCSG who is also the vice Chair of JCSG.

But pehaps lets challenge ourselves as pointed out by LK. It is now obvious that many of us are only good at talking but not action or throwing in resources to support what we are trying to do. This is the biggest challenge.

But be rest assured, FSIIM will help in the quest to collect signatures. BTW, admire your boldness and perserverance BH. This is how it feels. I salute you!

  • Barnzie Henson Thanks bro BA n I salute you back for your endurance and support....lets all do this together....one voice one people one nation.....for we wrestle not against flesh and blood the Holy Book says....how true, it's not the person Lilo we are are fighting but the spirit of corruption that's controlling the nations highest office, bringing sickness and disease on our economy and livelihood....lets face it together and I verily believe, we shall overcome,

The Office of the Prime Minister has all the rights in the world to be nervous about this outside special interest groups.
