  • Brad Lesley Pugeva nice offer DT,even name blo leader but no save hw mas mo fo members...
  • Sione Tuhaika Hem hard. You can't set up an anti-corruption org in Renbel free of political influence. It is impossible since our system is sooo corrupt and almost everyone is an actor or related to someone who is a political activist. To be fair to this MP, evri MP goes through the same corrupt practice, but every new MP is expected to do things differently or at least better! Unfortunately, its not the case. The MP would do a whole world of good for himself and his supporters if he chose to either refrain from using surrogates as his medium, or engage in a more direct way - example - sign up and join the forum or kolim community and find out what they need and have a meeting with them. Else, yumi enjoyem life as it is and wait for the next round of election when Santa Clause will be flying here and there with bags of goodies  ... There's more to life. Safe weekend evriwan.
  • Sangokiahungu Ta'akihenua There was an-aniti corruption team formed to watch our province or contituency, but maybe they are not working at the moment because of funding not available for them to carry out their duties, Ka he pegea MP, MPA or any one with the concern to fight against corruption assist this anti corruption thing, ke hina'i kinai.
  • Tuhanuku Adrian hallow all, I need to clarify this gossip. I can confirm that there is more than 2 million dollars for Renbel education in the last 6 years and millions to medical and health in the last 10 years and millions in other ministries. this was disclose to our provincial government by visiting officer from ministry of finance budget division. those funds never reach Renbel or little, why...that's something only each head of division in those (Renbel) provincial divisions and their mother ministry (current and previous) can explain. During the meeting ( National Budget division and provincial government), we were adviced to revert those funds through the provincial government. this is an advice given to other provinces as well. provinces have taken up the advice and have already centralized all funds from respective ministry under their treasury division because they have the capacity. in our case, Premier lence and I met PS education as well as other ministries. The speculation from this officer in ministry of finance I want named that we requested the fund is part of the submission we are still consulting on. the request is for each ministry to seconded a finance officer to manage provincial fund allocated for services and development of those sectors in renbel including education. in the past and to date, our Medical directors no longer focus on referral cases instead worry nomoa lo management of medical fund. Education officers no sabe visit schools, worry nomoa for manage the fund, school principals forget their academic roles, only worry about school grants. ministry of education seems to not focus on renbel so divert Renbel funds to to other programs and provinces. we are still looking at what we as province provide for the new officer (s) and whats line ministries can before consulting again. Renbel province does not have the capacity, for this reason the advice to premier is to continue fight for an assigned accountant for each division under their ministerial establishment. To date, talk hem still underway but we insist that as part of staffing for Renbel province, each ministry must send a accountant. hope bae next budget oketa ministries consider. have a nice weekend all.
  • Joyce E Teata Konofilia no any anti-corruption group ba waka lo renbel taem ota members blo group ya already bias lo views blo oketa and taking sides with leaders..hao na ba u talk about corruption taem u already defeatim purpose blo hem?..talk about conflict of interest! Me hopeless na..
  • McLeen Tongaka Sinumoana Pikacha Interesting how people choose to respond differently to different corruption threads...Anti corruption has nothing to do with all these craps..hehehe!..If you have been a champion of pretending to be someone who stands up for the people..you should speak your mind on all issues equally..and not asking about the anti corruption group as an excuse for your selective responses..hehe!
  • Too Pauq thanks adrian for the explanation, fair enough. hope there will be tangible develipment in our schools.aue. @lppt, tau audit report manga ati ite auditor generals office manga naa who are being implicated. every allegations lo different forums and threads are all speculations.
  • Sione Tuhaika I don't get it. Why consulting when the money was allocated based on the budget passed by parliament? Consulting hem nara nem blong "lukaotim" haha. This is quite interesting really. If it was distributed to other provinces, its either sitting somewhere untouched or hem lus finis. $2m in 6 years is a little more than $300K a year, which can be used in less than a year by a crook insider. And how much is this "millions for health services in Renbel" - what are all these money for, research labs in Renbel? Either our provincial previous gov'ts/leaders were simply incompetent or some degree holders previously working for Renbel in the past 6 years found some clever ways of chewing and grinding these money to the sum of $0. Yes, I am speculating but it is highly unlikely that a huge sum of money could be sitting somewhere untouched. Me'a 'e ingoa e mungiki te kai butibuti te waka nei!! Little by little and eventually, the $2m is completely consumed! Na mane nei manga 'ite tina'e 'o he kebo gees!
  • McLeen Tongaka Sinumoana Pikacha 2millions for education, unknown millions for health, unknown millions for other ministries....MILLIONS! he'e na'a sa'uiho even though they were already allocated by the national government??..so in total how many millions he'e kitea na sa'uiho??..ai nia koia manga hai??..good infor Adrian and hope you can shed more lights into these so much millions which should have helped our province in the past six years to a good functioning and viable province .
  • Baemoana Jr Muna Just curious nma....hu na oketa members blo anti-corruption group ia? Te group nei noko hu'ai loga ina goloba e singi, haka he 'o'o aki ke form, choose tangatou legal advisor, vocal in every aspect regarding corruption lo renbel province, most in this forum gave support to such initiation, he'e kilia po koai ona member and now it is said that most of its members are taking sides with leaders and bias in their views. Just wonder nma, koai na member nei e bias and taking side lo ot members ia????
  • Clayton Ma'atonu Tuimaka Now Adrian explain clearly the reasons for the intended change by the Ministry, kaa koau manga question po tehea te intention o topic ngau mea nei?? We need to precisely discuss the topic of the recently distributed RCDF projects that continues to be bias or unequal, kaa ku konge e topic nei... but one thing for sure is; ei ai na family ku manga huihui te project while the rest are struggling... ngo delete mai post nei Admin, ai koau e hano kau saghaghi i bai kaukau...
  • Too Pauq @cmt, you question the intention of this thread is to raise wn issue of concern. aikokoe kanga goa tou ngutu abt corruption ea ite kunga nei? or you select who to qtn n attack?

  • Sione Tuhaika Mai noka te hetau, KMT noka te Kava kae post kite kunga nei ai koe manga ngea hano ite langus ana moko hahahaha. Top week fellas.
  • McLeen Tongaka Sinumoana Pikacha guys just to add on to your comments..first the anti corruption group..the work involve hem slow bcos those who willingly put together this group..oketa garem staka busy so constitution hem no complete as yet..but it should not give me or anyone the right to question the group..its more like a NGO wea hem waka or nomoa hem independent lo oketa issues ya..until such a time that group hem ready.....lo side of this topic..i believe it is important to discuss cos if you add all the millions for each ministries including the education..it should be more than 10 millions which is equal the RCDF but the difference is we see projects from the RCDF..this more than 10 million for the province..no any sign blo hem lo province as yet..
  • Clayton Ma'atonu Tuimaka ST, Ana ma'ongi, ku kilia mau kitiau 'ai te kava te cause ai nimoia....
  • Clayton Ma'atonu Tuimaka Ai maongi songonga, te nimoia noko haa ngabu ia ki papa i tahiti.....
  • Stanley T. Tuiakihenua This topic was meant to divert our attention from the issues at hand. RCDF n other fundings. Some people are asking about the anti corruption group. It had already formed but the problem is they don't have the money to register the group. The group is known as "Avaiki Anti Corruption Team" (AACT). To be honest, i'm one them but i don't know whether to continue n be a member of this group or not b'cos some of us in this group (AACT) have different views over the issues discussed here. In my view, this is clearly playing double standard. The next time i come around, i'm going to expose in this page members of the Executive n all other members of the group.
  • Maitaki Teika I dont think its a good idea to expose members of the AACT. first, i was the one who resgistered and formed this group waitm help blo somefala friends. No lo Idea mifala Jealous or kaimeo mane or me doim for anywan popular lo hem. No. mi fala doim cos other provinces garema and mifala formum especially for fightim corruption lo 2 fala island. As you all know that Renbel the smallest Province inthe solomon and one of the most corrupted provinces to. so what na hem wrong if yu mi formum kine group osem and fightim corruption lo Renbel rather than just meke noise lo here without any wan garem heart for doim. we can talk how much iumi likem but whats the point?? staka good ideas, sugggestions, comments come from educated and people lo 2 fala island but hem just veporised lo air because no any wan take action lo hem. bro, its a risk we all have to take, if we are to see a good and healthy Renbel in years to come. this post hem just comment blo me and how me think of the AACT but no againstim any wan or any group. thanks
  • Maitaki Teika Bro, me no supportim any member nor votim current member for win. me sharem ideas blo me nomoa lo what me think. all i was saying was if any memeber, just any member supportim people lo island, hes/shes my member. me also comment lo wan fala post wea kam up lo here. what i said was, iumi no need for iumi raowa over any thing and spoelem man lo any issue cos current mp lo there finish na and even hem seleva talem statement ia. No any thing iumi save doim untill election next year. and for talk public lo hem, no i dont do that. every one garem rite for expressim what he/she thinks hem good lo own tingting blo hem. Thank you
  • Too Pauq @stt, thread blo rcdf hem stap, if u no garem anything constructive for cont lo this thread then go lo thread blo rcdf and continue. pipol who have that view on this thread are those who personally hate the mp. if you are genuinely concerned abt the use of public funds then do your scrutiny fairly.
  • David Topue TP, for centralized, hahaha. koainga manga plan he way ke sau iho ai te money na. Good to monitor such huge money no good by hem account receiable blo any ward. hahaha
  • Joyce E Teata Konofilia Maitaki no wari for haedem members blo AACT ya..staka judas insaet finis ha!

  • Maitaki Teika Noted Joyce thanks
  • Too Pauq joyce u better display sm ethics that can reflect your level of education. AACT, is an organization n u just cant blow things out like this. judas? better reflect on ur position.
  • Joyce E Teata Konofilia huh? U talk to me about ethics? Wat na u laek haedim ya TP? That u playm double standard by accusing me of wrong when im innocent and protecting the very pple AACT is supposed to deal with? yes i am educated to do what is right, accountable for my people..so i dont know what you on about TP..make up ur mind where u want to be..obviously AACT is not ur place, just saying!
  • Too Pauq this is wat im talking abt. u na like usim AACT for political agenda blo iu.im the elected secretary, u sackim mi? on wat grounds? u better step outside n advwnce ur politically motivated agenda n dont hide under AACT.

  • Maitaki Teika friends, Joyce and TooPauq, hem lelebt over na. manga tuku iho ke ngo mani hengeu kinai. hem become personal na. the thread was for yu me talk about slen. wea hem should go and right man for receivim. Ok I respect your views and comments but ku mii oba dose. please work together as team and be mindful lo what iumi se lo here cos tai ngo too masei ia. aue for understand
  • Joyce E Teata Konofilia Maitaki Teika, as I said right from day 1 when the idea was formed. That I will not be interested to be part of a group that is hidden and enclosed. Fighting corruption is all about being transparent and so are the members of the group. I dont see any reason whatsoever why members of AACT should be exclusive and private. What is the motivation here? I agree there might be some sensitive issues that need privacy bata obviously its over that stage..people inside AACT are already politically motivated, even before AACT hem form. So umi no waste time lo hidem membership ya cos we will never gain the support we need. Unles and until our motives and agenda are made known to the Renbel public, I doubt we will gain the support of our people, the very substance of what we stand for..TP me no sackiem you, just giving you food for thought...digest and be merry..peace out!
  • Brad Lesley Pugeva Tupaukiu ma Joyce, koungua koia ea? Noka te haka ango'aki ai...
  • Maitaki Teika Thanks Joyce, seeing that iumi lo this topic I think others will also be intrested for save so ansa na osem.
  • Too Pauq hahaha DT, manga one week kae written off mau..hahaha
  • Maitaki Teika 1. sam fala issues example. if brother blo any wan lo Isles correspondence na in question, how na bae iumi tok about time hem lo there ect. there are issues that yu mi need for talk private lo hem. and if true iumi tok about corruption lo here bae hem osem every other topics iumi kosap hakamotu aki lo hem ia. 2. why iumi hidim memebers. hem for security reasons and if public save every member lo group, kamanga hua eha ai te hemakau aki, oti ai na api, hakamotu aki ai cos ota issues wea group ia handlem bae hem save putum man behind bars. eiai mau na case that oketa lo group bae related lo people where in questioned to but iumi AACT save how for deal waitim kine sitiuation osem. I think hem still good for iumi waka osem. lo end lo day hem free waka umi doim lo own pocket and time blo iumi for every wan lo renbel nomata hem risky. someone has to do it for good blo umi every wan this time and lo future. Dream blo group is for renbel corrupt free. hem hard one butI belive if we put our heads together hem possible. hem good something to, mekem ota mps blo iumi usim as a giude line. thanks and hope lelebt explanation hem asarem samfala questions not only Joyce like herem but others where been kept in the dark and for that Iam sorry on behalf lo group.Me fala no mekem group ia because me fala think mi fala perfect NO! as me talem kam finish some one has to do it. if other provinces garem kine group osem what na hem stopem yu me for formum one.ko taou huai proud tamaki lo AVAIKI. Lets work together for yu me fightim corruption lo every level so that AVAIKI bae hem corrupt free. Manga hai lobo. aue
  • Stanley T. Tuiakihenua I don't know why only one person in this forum seems to be very defensive when discussing the funds ( money) under the custodian of the Mp. All of us (RBL people) have the right to know how these millions of dollars are being spent. We are not questioning or talking about money from the Mp's personal bank account. One thing that needs to put right here is i don't hate our Hon Mp n i don't have any personal problem with him. He is our political leader, but he is bound to be to be critized by those whom he represent in the National Parliament if he was not doing the right thing. Our Hon Mp is not the only one facing critisism from his people for the use of the funds. A lot of Mps are facing similar problem from their own people. This is politic n nothing personal here.
